baby curls

Cecelia got her first haircut yesterday! I wanted to keep her curls so I asked for just a trim to even it out. She loved the experience, but it makes me sad. Everywhere we go people compliment her hair, the fact that she has so much and the curls at the end. Well now it's just like any other little girl's hair. :( It is just past her shoulders and the curls are hidden underneath. I wasn't able to get any very good After pictures. Hopefully I can this week in Maryland!

9 months old

Quinn turned 9 months last week and of course things have been so crazy busy here I forgot to update! She had a well-check and everything was great. She weighed 18 pounds 4.5 ounces in just her diaper. I think she was 26.5 inches long . That computes to 25% in weight and 10% in length. I guess I should say height now because my baby is pulling up everywhere! She isn't cruising yet, but her doctor was very impressed with her vocabulary. She can say mama, hi and baba for byebye while waving. She is the sweetest little baby who is sleeping through the night. Hallelujah! She loves cheerios and has to grab the spoon while I am *attempting* to feed her. Dr. Hogan said she is definitely my most allergic baby. Corn did not agree with her, so I am going to have to watch out for corn syrup as well as dairy for a bit. She seems to be a lot better with the dairy allergy, but I haven't taken her back to the gastro doctor. All I know is I have snuck quite a bit of chocolate from halloween bags and it hasn't seemed to bother her. It is bittersweet that in the next few months I am going to start the weaning process. Which is going to be interesting with the whole milk thing. I just love her so much! Is it horrible that I want her to stay my baby forever??

Now it's time to start planning Thanksgiving (in Maryland), Cece's birthday, Christmas, and Quinn's birthday. Aughh!

ETA: I just had to come back and write Papa said Quinn looked like she was standing up taking a leak in the above picture. I can totally see it! HAHAHA

Happy Halloween!
